Deani Van Pelt
Senior Fellow, Education
Deani Van Pelt is a Cardus Senior Fellow, the President of Edvance Christian Schools Association, and a Senior Fellow at the Fraser Institute, where she formerly served as the Director of the Barbara Mitchell Centre for Improvement in Education.
Deani holds a B.Commerce (McMaster University), B.Ed. (University of Toronto), and Master's and Ph.D. in Education (Western University). She is an Ontario Certified Teacher and formerly taught in both Christian and public secondary schools. She was also previously Associate Professor of Education and Director of Teacher Education at Redeemer University College.
