David Sikkink
Senior Fellow, Research
David Sikkink is a Cardus Senior Fellow and an associate professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Notre Dame. He completed his doctorate in sociology at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and has been in Sociology at Notre Dame since 1999. His main research interests are in education, religion, and politics. Recent work includes studies of intergenerational schooling choices, the public orientations of evangelical Protestant schoolers in the U.S. and Canada, and the relationship between private schooling and political engagement.
