“We mourn the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. She was a strong, remarkable woman of conviction and faith–unshakable in carrying out her duty every day of her life. Her selfless commitment to the democratic institutions of which her authority was the font, is an example for all Canadians to follow. Indeed, she never wavered from the public commitment she made in her 21st birthday speech to devote her whole life to service. May she rest in peace. God save the King.”
